D Ended Tanks | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The well proven Kingfisher D ended tank system, which is designed for the intensive production of most species of farmed fish, is based on a modular design and is rectangular in configuration, having radiused ends and a central dividing baffle, extending the length of the straight wall only, and around which a flow is induced.
Discharge is via a conventional external shrouded stand pipe which incorporates a completely safe method of variable tank level control. In order to optimise on the main service lines such as air, water inlet and discharge, and also on floor space, the recommended tank layout is side to side and in spaced rows to permit vehicle access between each row. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
